1.現在進行時的意義
(1)表示現在(說話時)正在進行的動作或存在的狀態。例如:
The students are listening to the teacher,
He is sleeping now.
(2)也可表示當前一段時間或現階段正在進行的動作或存在的狀態。例如:
We are working on a farm today.
I 'm reading a history book this month.

2.現在進行時的構成
現在進行時是由助動詞be(am/is/are)加動詞-ing形式構成的。以動詞wot為例現在進行時的肯定式、否定式、疑問式和簡略答語如下

特殊疑問句結構:疑問詞+am/is/are+主語+動詞-ing形式(+其他)

否定回答：
No，主語+am not/isn't/arent

以不發音字母e結尾的動詞 去掉e，再加-ing study → studying

以重讀閉音節結尾且末尾只有一個輔音字母的動詞 雙寫詞尾輔音字母，再加-ing get → getting

begin → beginning
以ie結尾的動詞 變ie為y，再加-ing lie → lying
die → dying
常與現在進行時連用的時間狀語或標志詞如下now、 right now、 at presentat the moment、 look、 listen.
