Resolutions are promises to yourself. They may help to make you a better person and to make your life easier.
I made two resolutions at the beginning of the year. The first resolution is about my physical health. I‘ m going to exercise more and eat less junk food. After all, health comes first. The second resolution is about my studies. I want to get better grades, so I’ m going to study harder. Taking more exercise and asking for teachers‘ help are also good ways for me to make progress.
Although it' s difficult to keep the resolutions, I will try my best to do it.

3a. Read the sentences and notice the words in bold. Then discuss when you use be going to.
一般將來時態
一、概念：表示將來某個時間要發生的動作或存在的狀態，也表示將來經常或反復發生
的動作，常與表示將來的時間狀語連用。
二、有兩種構成形式：1. 由“助動詞will + 動詞原形”構成；
2. 由“be going to + 動詞原形”構成。
三、表示將來的時間狀語有：tomorrow, next week, next year, in the future...。
四、結構：肯定句、否定句、疑問句 （be going to）
be going to結構表示“意圖、打算做某事或預見即將發生某事；be going to后接動詞原形，be要根據主語的變化相應地變換為am, is或are。
