用作賓語的從句叫做賓語從句，從句部分用陳述語序
從屬連詞
that
if 和whether
當賓語從句由陳述句變化而來時，由that來引導從句，其中的that無具體意義，在口語中可以省略。例如：I believe(that)our team will win the basketball match .
當賓語從句由一般疑問句變化而來時，可用if或whether來引導，意為是否，例如：David asked her if/whether she slept well last night .
時態
主句是一般現在時，賓語從句的時態可根據具體情況而定；主句是一般過去時，賓語從句也常用過去時態。
賓語從句表示客觀事實或真理時，其時態不受主句限制，用一般現在時，例如：Dad told me that the sun rises in the east .
