difficulty作名詞,意為“困難;難題”,其常見用法如下:
have/has/had difficulty (in) doing sth做某事有困難
have / has / had difficulty with ...在某方面有困難
He has difficulty (in) speaking English.他講英語有困難。
She has difficulty with spelling.她在拼寫方面有困難。

【辨析】difficulty、problem與trouble
difficulty 強調“困難本身”或“需要努力解決的問題”(如學習困難、生活難題) She had great difficulty(in) understanding the maths problem.她理解這道數學題有很大困難。
problem 指“需要解決的具體問題”(如數學題、機器故障) Let me know if you have any problems.
你若有困難就告訴我。
trouble 更口語化,常指“麻煩或困境” He could make trouble for me if he wanted
to.他要是想找麻煩就能給我找麻煩。
2.But promise me you’ll think about it seriously.
但答應我你會認真考慮。
seriously作副詞,意為“嚴肅地;認真地”。take ... seriously意為“認真對待……”。

【拓展】seriously 的形容詞形式為serious,意為“嚴肅的;認真的”。be serious about意為“對……認真”。
