一、教學設計說明
本課時以“表達自己的情感”為主題，通過閱讀和寫作活動，引導學生學習如何用英語描述自己的寵物、表達對家人的愛以及展示友誼的方式。教學設計遵循學生的認知規律，以英語學習活動觀為指導，圍繞“如何表達自己”這一核心話題，結合本單元的大問題“我們如何表達自己的情感”，以及本課時的子任務“通過不同方式表達自己”，分層次完成教學任務。在學生討論如何通過言語、繪畫、唱歌等方式表達自己的過程中，將基礎詞匯、句型和知識融入學習活動的全過程，幫助學生理解文本所表達的主題意義，并通過理解文章句子之間的邏輯來梳理短文內容的表達順序。在閱讀和寫作的過程中，進一步了解表達自己的重要性，知道如何去表達自己的情感，并且愿意為此付諸行動。
二、語篇研讀
【What】 本課時圍繞“表達自己情感”這一情境，描述了人們通過不同方式表達自己的情感和想法。語篇中詳細記錄了人們如何通過言語、繪畫、唱歌、微笑等方式來表達自己情感。 【Why】 通過描述人們如何表達自己情感，讓學生進一步體會表達自己情感的重要性，通過展示不同表達方式的實例，讓學生更加主動地去學習和實踐這些表達情感的方式。 【How】 這是一篇圖文結合的語篇，結合“表達自己情感”的情境，幫助學生理解語篇含義。使用“We talk. Our mouth, face and body can all 'talk'.”等句型，讓學生在情境中理解句子。例如，通過描述人們如何通過言語、繪畫、唱歌等方式表達自己，幫助學生學習這些表達情感的方式。通過“Read and number the pictures”等活動，進一步鞏固語言知識，提高語言運用能力，增強跨文化交流能力。
三、課時教學目標

四、教學重難點
【重點】 能夠在情境中，學習閱讀小文段、看插圖，體會圖片和文字之間的關系，運用所學表達方式用英語進行交流，并能用核心句型描述動物的特征和如何表達情感。 【難點】 能夠靈活運用所學表達方式，在角色扮演和情境模擬中實踐這些表達情感的方式，并進一步體會表達自己情感的重要性。
五、教學過程
環節一：Pre-reading創設情境，導入話題，激發學生的學習興趣。（5 mins） 通過播放chant和展示圖片，學生理解內容，引出本課主題“How do we express our love ”， 激發學生的學習興趣和參與熱情。

1. Listen and chant 播放chant，引導學生思考“What’s the song about ”，引出本課主題“How do we express our love ”。 學習理解之感知與注意 觀察學生能否根據歌曲內容，理解歌曲主題是“我們如何表達愛”。
2. Look and think (畫廊） 畫廊活動。引導學生討論： How do you show your love to your parents/pets/friends 然后出現對父母/寵物/朋友表達關愛等圖片。 學習理解之感知與注意 觀察學生是否能夠積極參與到討論中，說出向家人和朋友表達關愛的詞匯。
設計意圖： 通過chant和圖片激發學生的興趣，引出本課主題“How do we express our love ”，喚起學生樂于向家人和朋友表達關愛的品質，為本節課的學習做鋪墊。
環節二：While-reading 指導閱讀，體會句型含義和用法，明確句子之間的邏輯關系。（20 mins） 通過呈現閱讀語篇中的四幅插圖，引導學生觀察圖片并思考“How do they express their feelings ”，從而導入本節課的話題。再通過圈出有關情感表達方式的詞匯、閱讀連線、閱讀并理解表達方式的句子等活動，幫助學生體會句型的含義和用法。

6. Read in groups 分組朗讀。 應用實踐之內化與運用 通過觀察學生的朗讀情況，檢測學生是否能發音正確。
7. Let’s think 完成“Ways to express myself”的思維導圖。 應用實踐之分析與判斷 觀察學生能否根據所學內容，完成思維導圖的制作。
設計意圖： 通過本環節的活動，學生將深入理解如何用英語表達情感，并通過多種方式練習和應用所學的句型和詞匯。通過觀察插圖、圈出關鍵詞、匹配圖片和文本、聽音跟讀等活動，學生不僅能夠感知和理解情感表達的方式，還能通過思維導圖的制作，進一步梳理和鞏固所學知識，在提高學生的語言理解和表達能力，同時培養他們的創造性思維。
環節三：Post-reading通過制作和分享思維導圖的實踐活動，激發興趣，深入梳理相關知識，內化語言理，實現知識的遷移創新。（15 mins） 通過制作思維導圖、分享制作的思維導圖獲取并梳理相關語用知識，實現語言的內化和運用。
