Dear Sir or Madam,
I belive that children should do some chores at home. I disagree that children’s only job is study hard and do well at school. Of course it is important for children to study hard. However, I think it is unfair for children to expect their parents to work hard outside and do all the household chores, too. I think children should at least do some simple chores to help their busy parents. For example, they should make their own beds
and clean their own rooms because they are the ones who use these. They may not have time to help with the other parts of the house, but they should try to be responsible for their own areas. This will help them to grow up to be independent and responsible adults.

1．When they get older，they will have to do housework so there is no need for them to do it now.當他們長大后，他們將不得不做家務，所以現在不需要他們做。
There is no need for sb.to do sth.意為“對于某人來說，沒必要做某事”。其中need用作不可數名詞，意為“需要，必要”。
need作情態動詞，表示“需要”或“必須”，通常用于否定句和疑問句中。
need 作實義動詞，意思是“需要”，其后可跟名詞，代詞，動名詞或動詞不定式。
2．Doing chores helps to develop children's independence and teaches them how to look after themselves.做家務能幫著發展孩子們的獨立性，也能教他們如何照顧自己。
(1) doing chores 動名詞作主語，謂語動詞用單三形式。
(2) develop此處用作及物動詞，也可用作不及物動詞，意為“發展，壯大”。其名詞形式為development，develop的形容詞有developed意為“發達的”，developing意為“發展中的”。
(3) independence不可數名詞，意為“獨立”，形容詞為independent，意為“獨立的”。
(4) look after＝take care of 意為“照顧，照料”。

the earlier…，the better…意為“越早……，……越好”，其結構為“the＋比較級，the＋比較級”，意為“越……，就越……”，表示一方隨另一方程度的變化而變化。the用在形容詞或副詞的比較級前。

考點 I think it is important for children to learn how to do chores and help their parents with housework.我認為孩子們學會如何做家務和幫助父母做家務是重要的。
“It is＋形容詞＋for sb．＋to do sth.”意為“對某人來說做某事是……的”。該結構是it作形式主語，真正的主語是后面的動詞不定式。文中類似結構的句子還有：It is not enough to just get good grades at school.僅僅在學校取得好成績是不夠的。
考點 the＋比較級…，the＋比較級…越……越……
表示兩者同時發生變化，其中一個事物的增加或減少會導致另一個事物的增加或減少，其中的比較級既可以是形容詞，也可以是副詞。
如：The busier he is，the happier he will be.他越忙越快樂。
考點 provide的用法
provide作動詞，意為“提供；供應”。常見搭配：
provide sth.for sb．＝provide sb．with sth.給某人提供某物
如：The school provides free lunch for poor students.＝The school provides poor students with free lunch.學校給貧困生提供免費的午餐。
考點 in order to的用法
in order to意為“目的是；為了”，后跟動詞原形。其否定結構為in order not to。
【拓展】“in order＋that從句”意為“目的是；為了”，從句中常用can，may，could，might等情態動詞，可與“so that＋從句”相互轉換。
如：He works hard in order that he may succeed.＝He works hard so that he may succeed.他為了成功而努力工作。

(1)作名詞，意為“浪費；垃圾”。常用短語：
