教學內容
Task & Self-assessment（教材第48&49頁），本部分是信息輸出部分，以機器人的調查問卷　　|為素材，要求學生寫一封投訴信，鍛煉學生的綜合語言運用能力。
教材分析
“Task & Self-assessment”部分是知識和技能輸出的部分，學生前面的知識是否完全掌握，從這個部分就能明顯反映出來，也是老師查漏補缺的過程、老師一定要把重點的詞匯和句型、語法項目在這部分充分地體現。然后再根據學生的反饋進行適當的調整，幫助學生鞏固所學知識。在這兩部分，讓學生明確該做哪些準備工作，怎樣為寫作打下基礎。特別要注意寫作訓練。建議第一步理順思路，第二步檢查學生的寫作和自由表達能力。
核心素養
Task板塊語篇為一份調查問卷和一封投訴信，內容分別是關于Daniel的理想機器人和他對機器人的不滿。通過學習，學生可以了解電池續航時長、機器人工作時長、機器人工作時間、機器人功能以及檢修率等信息，懂得從哪些方面進行操作來維護自己作為消費者的合法權益。
教學目標
語言能力
（1）掌握單詞：satisfied, quality, completely, regret, product.
（2）掌握短語：be satisfied with, first of all, up to standard, expect sb to do,be unhappy with ,at most, at least, all the time, the quality of, need checking, regret doing, get my money back, send sb sth. , give sb a try, look forward to doing sth.
（3）掌握句型；How often do you think your robot should be checked How long do you expect your robot’s batteries to last A good robot should only need checking every 6 months. However, we hope that you will give it a try. We look forward to hearing from you soon
（4）運用所學，完成一篇關于機器人質量問題的投訴信。
文化意識
（1）認識到科技可改變人類的生活和學習以及工作方式，提升人類幸福感，但明白機器人無法代替人類。
（2）嘗試自己動手或小組合作設計一款機器人，并用英語描述，樹立科技興國意識，增強自篆感。
思維品質
（1）發揮想象力，思考機器人的智能化在將來會給人類帶來什么，提升創造性思維能力。
（2）圍繞話題情境．理性看待智能化機器人，并思考機器人出現故障后的解決途徑。
學習能力
（1）通過網絡等多種渠道獲得更多智能機器人的信息，了解前沿科技信息，緊跟時代步伐。
（2）通過小組合作和自我評價以及同伴評價，按照單元學習內容掌握情況，進行自我反省和調整學習計劃。

Step Lead-in（導入部分）

Step 2 Presentation(新授)
(1) Ask students to read the seven different sections of the questionnaire
Ask students to raise their hands if they have any questions.

(2) When Daniel's parents got Daniel the new robot, the shopkeeper had asked Daniel to fill in a questionnaire. Here is the completed questionnaire. You can also find the questionnaire in your books
(3) Now, let’s have a look at the questionnaire.

Daniel thought the batteries would last at least 2 months, but they only lasted for l week

How to write a complaint letter
Ask students to use the questionnaire they completed for the extension activity in our book as a basis for everything their own complaint letters in Part C. Remind students that when they write a complaint letter, they should maintain a formal style. Although they can make their complaint letters clear. They should be polite
Step 4 Write a guide(寫作)
Ask students to read his or her draft letter to classmates and the others check mistakes if there案are any.

教學探討與反思
本課時主要是鞏固、練習和加深前面所學知識的課程。本課的設計主要體現了“學以致用”這一教學理念。老師通過引導學生積極回答問題、讓學生與他人進行探討，培養其主動求知的精神，老師要多為學生提供自主學習和相互交流的機會，創造條件讓學生能夠探究他們自己感興趣的問題。同時，老師要注意鼓勵學生在學習中的各種嘗試，保護他們的自尊心和積極性，尤其注意鼓勵比較害羞的學生大膽開口說英語。
