本課時包括Language in use中Grammar focus部分，具體內容為：一般現在時肯定句的用法（含第三人稱單數的用法），以及否定句、疑問句的基本用法。
2．教學重點、難點

三、教學步驟
Step One Lead-in
Watch the video/PPT “my day”, take notes of the part of verb.
A Chinese student writes to his American pen friend.
“ I am a student of … Vocational High School in China. I live in students’ dormitory. We often get up at 7 o’clock and have breakfast at 7:30, then go to the classroom. We have 4 lessons in the morning and 2 lessons in the afternoon, such as, computer, etiquette, dancing, English, practice class and so on. At noon we have lunch at school. After school, we usually take part in different kinds of clubs or activities. They are very interesting. In the evening, we have night lessons. We usually go to bed at 10 o’clock. Would you tell me your life in school ”
They are simple present tense.

StepTwo Language in use
1. 一般現在時肯定句的構成
（1）主語+ am / is / are +表語
（ am is are 用法歌訣） I用am ，you 用are ，is 連著他、她、它；單數用 is , 復數一律都用are。
（2）a. 主語+ 實義動詞+ 其它
b.單三人稱主語+實義動詞單三人稱+其它
（用法歌訣： I 、you、 we 、they 動詞用原形；he 、she、 it 動詞用單三人稱）
動詞單三人稱形式的構成：
1. 一般的動詞詞尾+S。
2. 以sh/ch/s/x 結尾的詞+es.
3. 以輔音字母Y結尾的把Y變成 i，+es。
4. 輔音字母+o結尾的+es.)

如：I don’t play soccer after school.

一、教材分析
1．教學內容
本課時系教材《英語基礎教程》（1）第五單元的第一課時，包括Lead-in & Listening and speaking兩部分，具體內容為：熟悉興趣愛好的詞匯，聽懂并能談論詢問和回答有關興趣愛好的對話。
2．教學重點、難點
⑴教學重點
興趣愛好的詞匯和句型。復習初中所學關于興趣愛好的詞匯和短語；聽懂詢問和回答興趣愛好的詞匯和句型；聽懂詢問和回答有關興趣愛好的簡單對話。
⑵教學難點
在模擬或真實語境中談論興趣愛好。
二、教學目標
知識目標
⑴ 掌握興趣愛好相關的詞匯，如play the violin，build model cars，watching micro-courses online，hang out with friends，shop online，collect stamps，roller skating，bungee，photography，take photos, compose，gardening，growing plants
⑵掌握詢問、回答興趣愛好所使用的句型，如：

三、教學步驟
Step One Lead-in
Have a match.
Show the students a short video about hobbies. Have the students recognize them, ask the students write down the key words in groups, and ask them to speak out. Give the different groups marks. (微視頻制作中的圖片包含了初中學過的興趣愛好的基本詞匯和即將要學的詞匯或短語，把一些熟悉的短語圖片播放間隔時間縮短，或者幾個愛好在一張圖上，增加難度和競爭的氛圍，用手機APP制作并配音，非常方便。)
Teacher：What did you see in the video
The short video is about the (hobbies). It is the topic of this unit.
Let’s watch the video again and speak out the words and phrases loudly(第二遍播放的視頻增加了字幕，有單詞或短語).
（設計意圖:本活動為圖片激活，通過圖片激活學生的大腦,復習以前學過的單詞和詞組，并對新單詞和短語有個基本印象;通過小組合作競爭的形式調動學生參與的積極性。）
Activity 1. Match and think. Have the student recognize the activities and match them with the pictures. Ask them to tick the activities they are interested in.

Practice. Have the students recite the phrases and have a check. The following activities may be your choice.
Have the students say the words out according to the pictures. Or the teacher says the words in Chinese and the students say the words in English in correspondence with.
Ask students to match the verb and words together, as quickly as they can. See which group is the fastest to finish it.

Step One Lead-in
Game：Which group is the best Revise the words and phrases they learnt about hobbies. The teacher can use the games mentioned in the previous period.

Watch and answer. Students watch 3 short videos about hip-hop, car racing, parkour, and discuss them with the students using the following questions:

Have the students work individually and match the words (hip-hop, car racing, parkour) with the pictures. Have a check with the students as a whole.
Discus question 2 with your group member.

Step Three Production

2. Teacher chooses some students to read the information in the paper and ask other classmates guess: Who is he/she in my class Focus on the third person.
