教學過程 Step 1 Warming up a: Greet the class with a smile and introduce myself, invites Ss to think the question : Our school is going to have a school trip this month. Do you have any plans Where can we go (discuss Ss in group and show their answer in class) Step 2 Lead-in b: Watch a video about the Silk Road. After watching, teacher gives students a context. Suppose we are going to the Silk Road, what do we need to know before leaving. Teacher asks students what they know about the Silk Road. Step 3 Speaking Pair work First teacher leads students to know about the cities on the Silk Road in China. Then two students a group, talk about the travel plan. Example: A: What are you planning B: I am planning a trip to … A: Who will lead the trip B:… will lead the trip. A: May I go with… B: Yes, you may go. /No, you may not. Because… (Help Ss know some tips about plans.) Step 4 Listening 1. Pre-listening Look at the picture and answer the following questions. 2.While-listening Activity 1 Play a recording: listen to the conversation and write True(T) or False(F). Activity 2 Listen the conversation again and answer the following questions. 3. Post-listening Activity 1 Make up a dialogue After listening to the conversation, students learn many sentence structures about travel plan. Teacher leads students to make a travel for themselves and make up a dialogue. Activity 2 What is the Silk Road now Watch a video about “the Belt and Road Initiative”, know about the present of the Silk Road, encourage students to spread Chinese culture. Activity 3 Focusing on helping students classify and summarize the pronunciation of vowel letters or key vowel combinations Step5: Language points Step6 Homework Basic Homework Find and list all the expressions related to travel plans from the text and write them in your notebook.
