現(xiàn)在分詞用作狀語
1.現(xiàn)在分詞作時間狀語
現(xiàn)在分詞作時間狀語時,相當(dāng)于時間狀語從句。可在現(xiàn)在分詞前加連詞“when, while, until”等,使其時間
意義更明確。
Walking in the park,she saw an old friend.
=When/while(she was)walking in the park,she saw an old friend. 當(dāng)她在公園里散步時,她看到了她的一個老朋友。
2.現(xiàn)在分詞作原因狀語
現(xiàn)在分詞作原因狀語時,可轉(zhuǎn)換為由since, because或as引導(dǎo)的原因狀語從句,這類狀語多放在句子的前半部分。
Being ill,he couldn't go to school.
=As he was ill,he couldn't go to school.
3.現(xiàn)在分詞作條件狀語
現(xiàn)在分詞作條件狀語時,可轉(zhuǎn)換為if, once或unless等引導(dǎo)的條件狀語從句。
Working hard,you'll make great progress.
=If you work hard,you'll make great progress.

3)當(dāng)--ing表示的動作發(fā)生在謂語動詞之前時,應(yīng)使用完成式: having done.
1. Having been criticized by the teacher, he gave up smoking.
2.Being questioned by the teacher, she felt
very upset.
4) 當(dāng)--ing與句子的主語存在邏輯上的動賓關(guān)系時,-ing分詞要用被動形式。
