1. be worth doing 值得被……（主動形式表被動含義）
The book is well worth reading. 這本書很值得被讀。
2. be busy doing 正忙著做……
I am busy preparing for the coming final exam. 我正忙著為即將到來的期末考試做準備。
3. too…to do... 太……而不能……
The boy is too young to go to school. 這個男孩太小了以至于不能去上學。
4. so+adj./adv. as to do 如此……以致于......
She worked so hard as to pass all her tests. 她學習如此努力以致于通過了所有考試。
5. It takes sb. some time to do sth. 做某事花費某人......時間
It takes me 15 minutes to go to school every day. 每天上學花費我 15 分鐘的時間。
6. sb.spends some time（in）doing sth. 某人花……時間做某事
I spend 20 minutes in doing my homework every day. 我每天花 20 分鐘寫作業(yè)。
7. It is+adj.+for sb. to do sth. 對某人來說，做某事是……的
It is important for zookeepers to protect the pandas. 對動物園管理員來說，保護動物是重要的。
8. wish sb.+n./abj 祝愿某人……

9. sb. have some difficulty/trouble（in）doing sth. 某人做某事有困難
He has some difficfty (in) studying English. 他在學英語方面有困難。

=have no choice but to do 只好/只能......
I can do nothing but tell him the truth. 我只好告訴他事實。
11. It is said that… 據(jù)說……
It is said that you are going abroad. 據(jù)說你要出國。
12. not…until… 直到……才......
I didn’t go to sleep until my parents came back. 知道我父母回來我才上床睡覺。
13. 主語+find/consider/think+it+形容詞或名詞+不定式
I find it interesting to see this film. 我發(fā)現(xiàn)看這部電影和有趣。
14. so+adj./adv.+that 如此……以致于......
such+n.+that…如此……以致于......
The lady is so happy that she can’t say a word. 這位女士如此高興以至于說不出話來。
She is such a kind girl that everyone likes her in her class. 她是如此善良的女孩以致于班上每個人都喜歡
她。
15. why not do sth 為什么不做……呢？

16. It's time to do sth. 到做某事的時間了
It's time to clean the classroom. 該打掃教室了。
17. sb. devote oneself/one's life to sth./doing. 致力于做某事
She devoted herself to teaching English. 她致力于教英語。
18. It is/ was+被強調(diào)部分+that/who…
It is this boy who broke the window. 是這個男孩打破了窗戶。
19. I don't think/believe/suppose/expect+that 從句否定前移
I don’t think he will win the game. 我認為他不會贏得比賽。

21. It is no use doing sth. 做某事沒有用處

22. 主語+have no idea+從句 不知道……
I have no idea when he will come back. 我不知道他什么時候回來。
23. no matter when/where/what/who/whether/how... 無論......
No matter who you are, you must obey the law. 無論你是誰，都必須遵守法律。
24. used to do 過去常常做某事 be used to doing 習慣于做某事
I used to make a joke on him. 我過去常常開他玩笑。
I have been used to getting up early. 我已經(jīng)習慣了早起。
25. It is possible/probable/likely that… 可能……
It’s possible but not likely/probable that he’ll come here next month. 他下月有可能來這里，但是不是很
肯定。
26. as...as .....樣中間必須用形容詞或副詞原級。
例如: This classroom is as big as that one.這間教室和那間一樣大。
He runs as fast as Tom.他和湯姆跑的一樣快。
否定結(jié)構(gòu): not as/so...as, “......。
上面的兩個句子可分別改為:
This classroom is not as/so large as that one.這間教室不如哪間大。
He doesn' t run as/so fast as Tom.他跑得不如湯姆快。
27. as soon as ........
用來引導時間狀語從句。若主句是一般將來時,從句要用一般現(xiàn)在時。例如:
I' Iltell him the plan as soon as I see him.我一看到他就告訴他這個計劃。
He' II go home as soon as he finishes his work.他一完成工作就回家。
28. be busy/enjoy/hate/go on/finish doing sth. 忙于/喜歡/討厭/繼續(xù)/完成做某事
在 enjoy, finish, hate, go on, be busy 等詞語后,一般用動詞-ing 形式作賓語。例如:
Lin Tao is busy making a model plane. 林濤正忙著做飛機模型。
My mother enjoys taking a walk after supper. 我媽媽喜歡晚飯后散步。
I hate watching Channel Five. 我討厭看五頻道。
When someone asked him to have a rest, he justwent on working.
當有人讓他休息一會兒時 ，他仍繼續(xù)工作。
I have finished writing the story. 我已經(jīng)寫完了故事。
29. fll.with ...裝滿... ; be filled with 充滿..... ;befullof 充滿了.
①be flled with 說明由外界事物造成的此種狀態(tài),表示被動。例如:
The box is filled with food.盒子里裝滿了食物。
②be full of 說明主語處于的狀態(tài)。此外，還可表示程度，意為“非常”。例如:
The patient' S room is full of flowers.那個病人的房間擺滿了花。
The young man is full of pride.那個年輕人非常驕傲。
③這兩種結(jié)構(gòu)還可以相互改寫。例如：
I fill the box with food.
The box is full of food.
30. be good/bad for 有利于/有.害....
此句型是: be+ adj. +for+n.結(jié)構(gòu)。例如:
Doing morning exercises is good for your health. 做早操對你的健康有益。
Always playing computer games is bad for yourstudy. 總玩電腦游戲?qū)δ愕膶W習不利。
