一般過去時
表示過去某個時間或某一段時間內(nèi)發(fā)生的動作或存在的狀態(tài)，也可表示過去經(jīng)常或反復(fù)發(fā)生的動作。
·They had a math test last week. 上周他們舉行了數(shù)學(xué)測驗。
·He was in the library just now. 剛才他在圖書館里。
· He often wrote stories at night last year. 去年他經(jīng)常在夜間寫故事。
考點1 一般過去時的時間狀語
一般過去時要和表示過去的時間狀語連用，如yesterday, last night, last year, 時間+ ago, just now, in + 年份等。
·I played football yesterday. 我昨天踢了足球。
·In 2020, we went on a trip to Hainan. 在2020年,我們?nèi)ズＤ下眯辛恕?br/>·Three days ago, I lost my favourite pen. 三天前,我丟了我最愛的鋼筆。
考點2 一般過去時的句式結(jié)構(gòu)
1. 肯定句
(1)主語+was / were + 其他.
(2)主語+ 動詞過去式+ 其他.
·She was born on a cold morning. 她出生在一個寒冷的早上。
·Bob wanted to go to Shanghai last year. 鮑勃去年想去上海。
2. 否定句
(1)主語+ was / were +not + 其他.
(2)主語+ did not/didn’t + 動詞原形+ 其他.
·Her younger sister wasn’t at home yesterday. 她妹妹昨天不在家。
·We didn’t agree with you. 我們不同意你的觀點。
3. 一般疑問句
(1)Was / Were + 主語+ 其他？
(2)Did + 主語+ 動詞原形+ 其他？
·Were you very tired last night 你昨晚很累嗎？
·Did he invite you to his party 他邀請你參加他的聚會了嗎？
(3)一般疑問句的肯定回答：Yes, 主語+was/were/did.
(4)一般疑問句的否定回答：No，主語+wasn’t/weren’t/didn’t.
·—Were you born in Beijing 你出生在北京嗎？
—Yes, I was. /No, I wasn’t.
是的，我出生在北京。/ 不，我不是出生在北京。
· —Did he start school there 他在那里上學(xué)嗎？
—Yes, he did. /No, he didn’t. 是的，他在。/ 不，他不在。
4. 特殊疑問句
(1)含有be 的特殊疑問句：
疑問詞+ was / were + 主語+ 其他？
·Where were you just now 剛才你在哪里？
(2)含有行為動詞的特殊疑問句：
①疑問詞+ 助動詞did + 主語+ 動詞原形+ 其他？
·When did you come back home yesterday 昨天你什么時候回到家
②疑問詞(作主語)+ 動詞過去式+ 其他？
·Who helped you with your English 誰幫助你學(xué)習(xí)英語？
考點3 動詞過去式的構(gòu)成
動詞過去式的構(gòu)成分為規(guī)則變化和不規(guī)則變化兩類。
動詞過去式的規(guī)則變化如下：
變化規(guī)則 原形 過去式
一般動詞結(jié)尾加-ed walk, listen, look, finish walked, listened,
looked, finished
以“不發(fā)音的字母e”結(jié)尾的動詞后加-d live, notice, decide lived, noticed,
decided
變化規(guī)則 原形 過去式
以“輔音字母+y”結(jié)尾的動詞，變y 為i，再加-ed hurry, marry hurried, married
以“一個元音字母+ 一個輔音字母”結(jié)尾的重讀閉音節(jié)動詞，先雙寫輔音字母，再加-ed stop, step stopped, stepped
一些動詞過去式不是規(guī)則變化，如：let—let; put—put; read—read; come—came; run—ran; hear—heard; bring—brought; feel—felt; get—got; find—found; have/has—had; keep—kept; sit— sat; eat—ate; know—knew; take—took; go—went; leave—left; say—said 等。
