Little Women is a novel（小說）written by an American writer, Louisa May Alcott. It came out in two parts in 1868 and 1869. The novel is about four sisters of the March family—Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy—and is based on（基于） the writer’s childhood experiences and close relationships with her sisters and parents. The four sisters had their own different personalities（個性）. They helped themselves find happiness through their talents and kindness.
