Birth July, 13th ,1983, China
Experiences of running Selected by the national team at the age of 16
Won a gold medal for Men’s 110m hurdles in 2004 Athens Olympics with 12.91s
2006 Lausanne track and field super grand prix, broke the record of 12.88s.
Liu Xiang is a former runner for the National Athletic Team of China. He said that he was discovered and selected by the national team at 16, he had trained so hard that he got a gold medal for Men’s 110 hurdles in 2004 Athens Olympics, which was almost the best time of his sports career.
He might never think of such great achievement when he was still a little common boy. His running story influences me a lot. He brought honor to our country, and I will learn from him and trust I could also make a difference as long as I stick to my dream.
