So each person put a bit in his basket and wished him good luck with his search.

When he had tied the basket to the front part of his body, he tried to climb the tree, but it was too difficult. He tried again and again without success.
Then his youngest son walked by, “What are you doing, father ” he asked and Anansi told him.“Why don't you carry the basket on your back instead ” his son said.
Anansi put the basket on his back and climbed the tree easily, but he wasn't happy. “I walked all over the village and collected so much wisdom that I am the wisest person ever, but my baby son is still wiser than me. Take back your wisdom!” he said. And he threw the basket of wisdom into the air and went home. And that's how wisdom went all over the world.

James is a good student and he has lots of friends, but he also has a problem. Some older boys are bullying(欺負) him at school. James is very unhappy and he doesn't know what to do about it. Here are some suggestions to him and other teenagers in this situation.
Don't feel worried. It's not your fault(過錯)! Being bullied can make you feel very lonely and angry, but you are not alone. Don't feel that you have to hide the problem. You should find a person you can trust, and tell them. It might be your teacher, your parents, or even your friend's parents. After you tell someone, you will get some support and feel some relief(解脫).
Speaking to an adult might make you nervous, but here are other things you can do. Some people express their feelings more easily on paper. Write a letter to someone or keep a diary. Include all the details(細節) about what the bullies do, as well as when and where the bullying happens. You can use it as proof to show what is going on. And it is a wonderful idea to show your letter or diary to a teacher or another responsible adult. Then the bullies will feel very afraid if their names appear in a letter!
Also, don't show you are sad and don't try and fight with the bullies. You could get in trouble your- self. Ignore them and just walk away. The bullies will soon stop.

In different countries around the world, most children must start schooling at early ages. And they become“adults” at different ages. Being an adult means having the right to do certain things, such as getting a part-time job, voting(投票), getting married, or getting a driving license. It also means accepting the responsibilities that go along with these rights.
In many countries, sixteen or eighteen is the age when a person becomes an adult. Young men and women at this age can get a part-time job, and begin to receive an income of their own. Most people have ambitions(雄心). An ambition is something we want to do, want to be or want to have. A student's ambition, for example, might be to pass his or her exams and then get a good job. People's appearance depends on things called genes(基因). Genes are found in the cells(細胞) of people's bodies, and they are passed on from parents to children. Here are some facts about eyes.
Many Europeans and Americans can have blue, green or brown eyes. But a brown-eyed person, for example, may also carry genes for another colour in his/ her body. So two brown-eyed or green-eyed parents may not have a child with eyes of the same colour. If a child's father and mother both have brown eyes, the child will probably also have brown eyes, but this is not certain.
If one parent has blue eyes and one has brown eyes, their children may have either blue eyes or brown eyes, but most will probably have brown eyes. The gene for blue eyes is recessive(隱性的) and the gene for brown eyes is dominant(顯性的). A few months ago, a strange thing happened in my life. I heard a strange sound outside the window every night. I was scared and didn't know what to do. Traffic accidents killed more than 104,000 people in China last year, or more than 280 people each day. There was a great need to change the situation.
In October of 2003, our new Traffic Law(法律) became a law and it was first put into use during the May Day holiday. It has new rules for drivers and pedestrians(行人). For example, drivers have to slow down when they are close to crosswalks. If people are in a crosswalk, cars must stop to let them walk. And if bus drivers smoke or make phone calls while driving, they can be fined. Buses that carry too many people are also against the law.
Pedestrians will have to walk more safely under the new traffic law. They must cross the streets at crosswalks. If not, the police will find them.
