表一種狀態(tài)變?yōu)榱硪环N狀態(tài):get; go; grow; become; turn; fall; run
表保持狀態(tài):remain; stay; keep; prove;

用法1.
過去分詞可放在連系動詞be,get,feel,remain,seem,look,become等之后作表語,構(gòu)成主系表結(jié)構(gòu),表示主語所處的狀態(tài), 相當(dāng)于一個形容詞。
用法2.
有些過去分詞(短語)源于主系表結(jié)構(gòu),不表被動動作而表示狀態(tài)。

作表語
V-ed作表語,強調(diào)主語的特點或狀態(tài),相當(dāng)于形容詞;
被動語態(tài)中,句子主語是動作的承受者,后面常跟by。
Eg:
The window is broken. 窗戶破了 (表狀態(tài))
The window was broken by Tom.
(表動作) 窗戶被湯姆打破了。

一、非謂語動詞作狀語
【Task 1】
過去分詞作狀語
過去分詞(短語)作狀語,可以表示時間、讓步、條件、原因、方式和結(jié)果,相當(dāng)于一個狀語從句。其邏輯主語為主句的主語,且與主句主語之間構(gòu)成邏輯上的動賓關(guān)系,即表示被動。
(1)作時間狀語
相當(dāng)于時間狀語從句。可在過去分詞前加上連詞when, while, until等,使其時間意義更明確。
When asked for his views about his teaching job, Philip said he found it very interesting and rewarding.
當(dāng)被問到對教學(xué)工作的觀點時,菲利普說他覺得它既有趣又有意義。

【Task 2】
現(xiàn)在分詞作狀語
現(xiàn)在分詞(短語)作狀語,可以表示時間、讓步、條件、原因、方式和結(jié)果,相當(dāng)于一個狀語從句。在分詞(短語)與句子的主語之間存在邏輯上的主謂關(guān)系,即表示主動。
(1)作時間狀語
Walking in the park, she saw an old friend.
= When she was walking in the park, she saw an old friend.
當(dāng)她在公園散步時,她看到她的一個老朋友。

(2) 作原因狀語
相當(dāng)于原因狀語從句或并列句。
Being a brave man, Jack returned to France.
= As he was a brave man, Jack returned to France.
Jack是勇敢的人,他返回了法國。
(3) 作條件狀語
相當(dāng)于條件狀語從句。可加連詞if, unless等轉(zhuǎn)換成條件狀語從句。
Going there by plane, you will arrive tomorrow morning.
= If you go there by plane, you will arrive tomorrow morning.

(4)作讓步狀語
相當(dāng)于讓步狀語從句。有時可加although, though, even if, even though, whether...or等連詞轉(zhuǎn)換成讓步狀語從句。

= Whether you ride a bike or driving a car, you must follow traffic rules..
不論你騎自行車還是開汽車,都必須遵守交通規(guī)則。
(5)作方式、伴隨狀語
相當(dāng)于and連接的并列句。
