一、教學內容分析
本課時為聽說課，對話內容包含3段對話，主要圍繞Fu Xing爺爺家的院子里的動植物。通過Fu Xing，Peter，Helen以及Fu Xing爺爺的對話，學習有關院落中動物和植物的詞匯，如：fun，yard，carrot，goose；以及如何詢問近處和遠處的動植物名稱以及數量的句型表達。通過本課時的學習，學生將能夠通過聽、說的方式理解和描述院落中動植物，并能詢問其名稱和數量，同時能夠感受相關的院落文化。
二、語篇分析
【What】 本部分包含了三段對話。第一段對話是Fu Xing\Peter\ Helen\Mr Fu之間互相問候。歡迎客人來到爺爺（Mr Fu）家里，并且初次對院里的動物展開詢問。第二段對話發生在Peter和Mr Fu之間，兩人一問一答，詢問和介紹了院中的植物種類。第三段話是Helen與Mr Fu之間的對話，詢問了院中動植物的名稱以及數量。 【Why】 本課時的三段對話場景和內容都與學生的實際生活緊密相關。這些對話模擬了日常生活中面對新環境，尤其是對于長輩的問候與交流，同時針對新的環境中的動植物的種類、名稱和數量進行詢問。通過這三段對話不僅有助于增強學生的表達能力與交際意識，還能為后續單元中的話題學習打下堅實的基礎。 【How】 本課時的對話主要關注對于陌生事物的了解，涉及特殊疑問句的使用，如“What is that, Mr Fu ”“What are those plants ”“How many rabbits do you have ”等。對話情節簡單，易于理解，具有很強的實用性。
三、學情分析
學生在前兩個單元的學習過程中，已經學會了如何詢問單復數的物品；詢問物品位置和顏色，這為本課的學習打下了語言基礎。七年級的學生隨著年齡的增長，漸漸從室內走向室外，對于農村院落中的動物和植物充滿了好奇，教師可以通過創設情境，播放動物叫聲等活動，讓學生感受庭院文化，學習相關語言知識，運用語言知識進行交流。本節課還設置了聽錄音跟讀數字、聽錄音圈數字、聽錄音寫數字等活動，鍛煉學生聽詞辨音的能力，同時激發學生的用數字表達動植物數量的欲望，讓學生實現對語言的感知、學習和運用。
四、教學目標
通過本節課的學習，學生能夠： 1. 借助聲音和圖片，回顧、學習有關動植物的詞匯； 2. 聽懂談論農家小院里動植物信息的對話，并能獲取細節信息； 3. 運用所學句型談論農家小院和都市公寓里的動植物以及數量； 4. 通過談論院落之物、比較院落與高樓公寓的不同，感受院落文化，品味生活情趣。

六、教學活動設計
環節一：創設情境，激發興趣，回顧舊知識，為新課學習導入話題。（2 mins） 教師創設情境，引出Fu Xing邀請Peter和Helen去爺爺家小院的情境，然后引導學生聽音猜動物，和看圖猜植物等活動，為后面的學習掃清詞匯障礙。

環節二：看圖獲取信息，并談論圖片內容，學習目標詞匯和句型。（13 mins） 教師引導學生看圖片，描述圖片中的動植物，并進行圖文匹配。然后基于情境學習指示代詞this，that，these，those的用法，并運用目標句型就圖片內容進行問答。

環節五：看圖進行對話練習，對比農村庭院和城市樓房的區別，讓學生在情境中運用目標語言，同時感知庭院文化，品味生活情趣。（15 mins） 教師引導學生看圖片數數，完成對話，然后倆人一組談論庭院和公寓，最后進行對比，感知庭院文化，品味生活情趣。
