《西游記》中國古典四大名著之一，是中國古代一部浪漫主義長篇神魔小說，作者吳承恩（爭議），成書于16世紀明朝中葉，主要描寫了唐僧、孫悟空、豬悟能、沙悟凈師徒四人去西天取經，歷經九九八十一難最后終于取得真經的故事。
《西游記》自問世以來在中國乃至世界各地廣為流傳,書中孫悟空這個形象，以其鮮明的個性特征，在中國文學史上立起了一座不朽的藝術豐碑。
悟空，是我們耳熟能詳的《西游記》人物，是真正的主角，人們心目中的英雄。孫悟空名字的由來是什么？孫是因為悟空本是猴子，悟空這個名字是有很深寓意的。
“悟空”就是“悟道”，“悟道”就是“悟空”，“空”就是“道”，“道”即是“空”。“悟”有著感悟、領悟、覺悟的含義，其中本身就代表著修煉、修心的意義。“悟”是一個過程，而“空”則指的是一種結果，通過多年的修煉、歷經九九八十一難最終要達到一種“無我”的境界。當達到“無我”的狀態之時，也就是真正修成正果之時，此時的他真正有了“道”，而這種道是一種無我之道，就像《道德經》里說：道可道，非常道！真正的道，是無法說的明白的，能說清楚的道不是大道！
孫悟空這個名字是菩提祖師想讓孫悟空不斷進取，人類最高境界才為孫悟空取的！

The Monkey King is not just any normal monkey. In fact, he sometimes does not even look like a monkey!This is because he can make 72 changes to his shape and size, turning himself into different animals and objects. But unless he can hide his tail, he cannot turn himself into a person. To fight bad people, the Monkey King uses a magic stick. Sometimes he can make the stick so small that he can keep it in his ear. At other times, he is able to make it big and long.
