賓語從句(Ⅱ)
1. Could you please tell me where the restrooms are 請你告訴我洗手間
在哪里好嗎？
2. Excuse me, do you know where I can get some postcards 打擾一下，

3. I wonder where we should go next. 我想知道接下來我們應該去哪兒。

語法拓展:
以上句子均為含賓語從句的復合句。第1、2、3句中含有疑問詞where引導的賓語從句，第4句中含有疑問詞when引導的賓語從句。
1. 疑問詞引導的賓語從句
當賓語從句是特殊疑問句時，疑問詞就是引導詞，這時疑問詞不可
省略，而且賓語從句要用陳述語序，即：疑問詞+主語+謂語+其他？
e.g. Where will we have a meeting 我們將在哪兒開會？
→Could you please tell me where we will have a meeting
你能告訴我我們將在哪兒開會嗎？
e.g. What should I do next 下一步我該做什么？
→I wonder what I should do next. 我想知道下一步我該做什么。
2. 含有賓語從句的復合句與簡單句的轉換
含有賓語從句的復合句在一定條件下可以轉化為簡單句。
(1) 若主句的主語或賓語與從句的主語一致，由疑問詞引導的賓語
從句可以變成“疑問詞+動詞不定式”的結構。
e.g. I don’t know how I should do it next.
→I don’t know how to do it next. 我不知道下一步應該怎樣做。
(2)當主句謂語動詞是 see, hear, watch 等時，其后的 that 從句常簡化為
“賓語+動詞原形/v.-ing形式”。
e.g. I saw some boys were playing basketball on the playground just now.
→I saw some boys playing basketball on the playground just now.
剛才我看到一些男孩正在操場上打籃球。
(3)當主句的謂語動詞是 hope, agree, wish 等，且主句的主語與從句的
主語一致時，其后以 that 引導的賓語從句可簡化為動詞不定式結構。
e.g. He agreed that he could help me with my English.
→He agreed to help me with my English. 他同意幫我學習英語。

pardon me 的用法：
(1)要打擾別人時，意為“對不起，勞駕，打擾一下”，相當于excuse me。
e.g. Pardon me,is this your handbag 打擾一下，這是你的手提包嗎
(2)沒聽清對方的話，希望對方重復一遍時，意為“什么 請再說一次”，
讀時用升調，相當于 Pardon 或 I beg your pardon
e.g. Pardon me I couldn’t hear it clearly. 請再說一遍，我聽不清楚。
(3)對自己的過錯、失禮等表示歉意時，意為“對不起”。
e.g. Oh,pardon me,I didn’t mean to interrupt you. 哦，對不起，我不是故意 打擾你的。

mail 此處用作及物動詞，意為“郵寄”，相當于動詞 post，還可譯為“發電子郵件”。其后可接雙賓語，構成短語：mail sb. sth.=mail sth. to sb.,意為“給某人寄某物”。
e.g. Please mail this letter to your father. 請把這封信寄給你父親。
【拓展】mail 用作不可數名詞，意為“郵件；信件”。由 mail 構成的合成詞：e-mail 意為“電子郵件”；airmail 意為“航空郵件”。
e.g. When he got to the office,he found a lot of mail waiting for him. 當他到辦公室時，他發現有很多郵件等著他（處理）。
