What’s the matter?=What’s wrong/the trouble?用來詢問病情或某人遇到什么麻煩。其后跟詢問的對象時,與介詞 with 連用。答語常為表示身體狀況或者表達所處困境的句式。當表示某人生病時一般用“have+a/an+表示病的名詞”, 意為“得……病”, 如have a cold, have a stomachache, have a fever, have a sore back等。
