一、教學內容分析
這是一節綜合活動課，本單元的項目活動是讓學生策劃一場集體生日會。首先讓學生運用本單元的目標語言調查小組成員的生日日期，然后統計出本月過生日的同學，最后為這些同學策劃一場有意義的集體生日，并評選出最佳活動方案。通過本課時的活動，可以幫助學生進一步鞏固本單元所學語言知識，提升學生的綜合語言運用能力。通過評選活動，還可以幫助學生對方案進行反饋，幫助學生反思方案的合理性，提高他們的思辨能力。
二、學情分析
學生在前面的語言學習過程中，已經學會用英語表達日期，談論各種各樣的生日慶祝方式，這為本課的綜合實踐活動打下了良好的基礎。本節課討論如何策劃一場有意義的集體生日，需要學生在小組內圍繞相關問題展開熱烈的討論，然后共同完成生日慶祝計劃，七年級的學生活潑好動、思維活躍，能夠積極參與小組討論，但是他們的思辨能力還不是很強，課堂活動過程中需要教師進行必要的指導。

五、教學活動設計
環節一：回顧表示月份的詞匯和日期表達法。（5 mins） 學生先將表示月份的單詞填入具體的方框中，然后介紹自己家庭成員的生日日期。

環節二：了解班內同學的生日日期。（8 mins） 學生在小組內進行調查，詢問并記錄小組成員的生日日期，然后將記錄小組成員生日日期的日歷貼到黑板上，學生利用一分鐘的時間盡可能多地記憶并說出日歷上的生日日期，互相挑戰，最后找出本月過生日的同學，準備為他們籌備集體生日會。

環節三：討論并制定生日慶典計劃。（32 mins） 小組成員一起討論生日慶典的相關問題，準備邀請卡，朗讀獻給父母的英文詩歌，設計慶祝活動等，最終完成慶祝活動方案，展示并互評。
