Teaching procedure:
Step1: Warm-up and Lead-in (5mins)
Listen to an English song about feelings.
Have a free talk.
Step2: Pre-listening (10mins)
Learn some new words and sentence patterns.
Try to find some differences between these two pictures and make your own choice.
Predict the contents of the listening material through pictures.
Step3: While-listening (15mins)
Listen to the tape and catch the information about Amy’s choice and Tina’s choice.
Listen to the tape again and fill in the blanks.
Step4: Post-listening (10mins)
Role-play the conversation between Amy and Tina.
Group discussion: Which movie would you like to choose
Step5: Summary (3mins)
(1)Teacher makes a summary about the whole class.
(2)Through the whole class, teacher encourages students to express their feelings bravely.
Step5: Homework (2mins)
(1)Make a interview about your classmates’ favourite movies and write down your conversations.
