一、基數詞
1. 定義
用于描述事物數量的多少的數詞,表示“事物或者人物的個數”。
2. 寫法
1-12單獨記 one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve
13-19詞尾加teen thirteen, fourteen, fifteen, sixteen, seventeen, eighteen, nineteen
20-90逢十詞尾為ty thirty, forty, fifty, sixty, seventy, eighty, ninety
21-99十位與個位之間加連字符 73 seventy-three, 67 sixty-seven
101-999 朗讀時,先讀百,再加and,后讀幾十幾。
1000以上每三位用逗號計數 267,(billion)35,(million)740,(thousand)229
3. 讀法
(1)在讀三位數或三位數以上的基數詞時,需在十位數之前(若十位數是“0”,在個位前)加連詞and

(2)阿拉伯數字每三位數就需用一個逗號隔開,從后往前數;所用的英語單詞為:thousand(千),million(百萬),billion(十億),英語中沒有“萬”和“億”,在表示“萬”和“億”時要接十進位法來推算。

4. 用法
基數詞在句中可作主語、賓語、表語、定語和同位語
(1)作主語
The two happily opened the schoolbag.
兩個人高興地打開了書包。
(2)作賓語
He needs three pens.
他需要三支筆。
(3)作表語
We are seven.
我們是七個人。
(4)作定語
Five students are playing volleyball outside.
五個學生在外面打排球。
(5)作同位語
They three tried to finish the task before today.

二、序數詞
1. 定義
指表示順序的數詞,表示“第幾”。
2. 寫法
(1)1,2,3要單獨記first,second,third
(2)4以后在基數詞尾加-th,特別要注意加-th時,有些基數詞的詞形需要改變

3. 用法
序數詞在句中可作主語、賓語、表語、定語、同位語和狀語
(1)作主語

(3)作表語
She is the first in our class.

(4)作定語

4. 變化規則
(1)第一到第十九
除第一first,第二second,第三third,第五fifth,第八eight,第九ninth,第十二twelfth變化不規則外,其余均在基數詞后加上-th
(2)第二十到第九十
整十數字的序數詞的構成方法是將整十數字詞尾的y變成i再加-eth
(3)從第二十一到第九十九
表示幾十幾的序數詞,只把個位數變成序數詞,十位數不變
(4)基數詞變序數詞助記歌:
基變序,有規律,末尾加上th;
一、二、三特殊記,詞尾分別t,d,d(first,second,third);
八加h,九去e,ve要用f替;
以y結尾變ie,后跟th莫忘記;
若想表示幾十幾,只變個位就可以。
