Lead in: Show the school that the boy's father wants to visit through a video. Purpose: Use video to arose students’ interests to the lesson, introduce the topic of school environment to set the situation for better learning, lay the foundation for the following learning. Step2.Presentation Learn about what people like to eat on the birthday in Korea and Russia with pictures and try to predict main idea from the title and picture. Free talk: Talk about what can we see in the picture freely. Observe and talk: Learn the meaning and pronunciation of grass, gym and dining hall by combining pictures. Look and match: Match the words with the corresponding prehend and analyze: Summarize the grammar points of the lesson Through conversation that talks about their respective schools between Wu Binbin and Wu Binbin's father. Purpose: Master the spelling and pronunciation of grass, gym and dining hall, understand the meaning and usage of words in specific situations and summarize the grammar points of this lesson. Step3.Practice Single choice: Observe the sentence and choose the correct answer. Draw lots: Draw lots and use “There was/were(no)...+過去的時間.” to make sentences. Look and say: Describe the boy's father and the boy's school according to the picture and the corresponding sentence pattern. Purpose: Strengthen the understanding of the words and master the important grammar points of this lesson and try to use sentence patterns to describe school in a specific context. Step4.Production & Consolidation Look and share: Use "At that time, there was/were no... People didn’t/couldn’t...” to describe school in the past based on the picture. Purpose: Use the learned sentence patterns to talk in the specific situation, consolidate the learned words and related expressions, give full play to the students' imagination, and further expand the students' thinking. Step5.Summary Summarize what we have learned today.
