(1)條件狀語從句通常由連詞if引導, 意為“如果、假如”, 主句不能用be going to表示將來, 而應該用shall、will。
e.g. If you leave now, you are never going to regret it. (錯誤)

(2). if還可以表示“是否”,相當于whether, 用于引導賓語從句。I don't know if he come tomorrow. If he comes, I will tell you.(前一個if表示“是否”,后一個if表示“如果”。)
(3) if引導的條件狀語從句可以轉換為:祈使句+and+另一個句子;如果if引導的條件狀語從句是否定句,可轉換為:祈使句+or+另一個句子。

(5) unless(相當于if...not, 除非,如果不), as long as(只要)也可以引導條件
狀語從句。

(6) 表示真實條件、客觀真理、自然現象、定理定義、 民間諺語等,句型是:If + 句子 (一般現在時 ),+ 主句 ( 一般現在時).
