一、教學目標 1. Knowledge goals Students are able to master the four seasons and different weather words, such as spring, summer, autumn, winter, hot, cool, say, code, warm, etc. Students can use the sentence pattern " What's s the weather like in... "And" I like doing... in... " to talk about the weather and activity in different seasons. 2. Ability goals Be able to understand simple conversations about seasons, weather and activities, and get key information. Be accurately and fluent, verbal expressions about seasons, weather and activities. 3. Emotional goals Cultivate students' love for nature, and the awareness of active participation in outdoor activities. 二、教學重難點 1. Teaching focus Master the vocabulary of the four seasons and the weather, and the use of related sentence patterns. Be able to understand and correctly answer questions about seasonal weather and activities. 2. Teaching difficulties Proftly use the sentence patterns for oral communication, express their favorite activities in different seasons. 三、教學方法 Task-based teaching method, situational teaching method, cooperative learning method 四、教學過程 (I)Lead in (5 minutes) 1. Show four pictures of different seasons (flowers in spring, beaches in summer, maple leaves in autumn, snow in winter), and guide students to tell the seasons represented by the pictures in Chinese. 2. Ask the Students: " Which season is your favorite season why "Let the students speak freely, stimulate the students' interest in the seasonal topics. (Ii) Word learning (10 minutes) 1. Show the pictures and words in Activity 1 part A, guide the students to match the season with the pictures, and connect the season with the corresponding weather vocabulary. For example: spring warm, summer hot, autumn cool, winter code 2. Check the matching and connection results, lead the students to read the words and correct the pronunciation. (III) Sentence exercises (5 minutes) 1. Let the students read the sentences in part B, and guide the students to fill in the blanks with the vocabulary they have just learned. For example: My parents usually take us to go hiking on (spring) weekends. It's very （hot） today. My little brother is swimming now. It's snowing, but it's not very （cold）. Let's go and make a snowman. It's sunny and （warm） today. Xiaoxiao's family is having a picnic in the park. 2. Please share the answers, check the whole class together, and emphasize the error points. (IV) Listening exercises (5 minutes) 1. Let the students read the Activity 2 questions and predict the listening content. 2. Play the listening materials, let the students listen carefully and choose the right answer. 3. Play the listening material again, check the answers, and ask the students to explain the choice. (V) Oral English practice (10 minutes) 1. Show the dialogue in part C of the Activity 1, play the recording, and let the students read it along, and pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation. 2. Let the students work in groups, imitate the dialogue, and replace the words in bold.for instance: What's the weather like in summer It's hot. What do you like doing in summer I like swimming with my friends. 3. Invite several groups of students to show the dialogue on the stage, and give them praise and encouragement. (VI) Group discussion (5 minutes) 1. Organize the students to conduct group activities, and let the students discuss the activities that they like to do in different seasons. 2. Each group will elect a representative to report the results of the group discussion to the whole class. (VII) Summary (5 minutes) 1. Review the four seasons, weather vocabulary and sentence patterns with the students. 2. Encourage students to observe the weather more in their daily life and actively participate in outdoor activities. 六、課后作業 1. Introduce your family or friends to the weather in different seasons. 2. Make a handwritten copy of the four seasons, requiring descriptions of their pictures, weather and activities. 七、教學反思 In this class, I guided the students to learn the vocabulary and sentence patterns of the four seasons, weather and related activities through various teaching methods and activities. In the import part, the pictures were used to successfully attract the students' attention and stimulate their interest in learning. In the process of vocabulary learning, it helps students to understand and remember vocabulary intuitively through pictures and connections, and the effect is good. Listening and speaking practice, students can actively participate in it, but some students still have some problems in pronunciation and expression, so they need to strengthen individual guidance in the future teaching. In the group discussion, students are highly motivated and can fully express their ideas, but the organization of group cooperation can be more optimized, so that each student can give full play to their role. Generally speaking, this lesson basically achieves the teaching objectives, but there are still some shortcomings in the teaching process. In the future teaching, I will pay more attention to the individual differences of students, provide more language practice opportunities, so that students can learn English in a relaxed and happy atmosphere, and improve their language use ability.
