單元主題分析
本單元 本單元主題:食物及用餐用語。該主題屬于“人與自我”“人與社會”的范疇,涉及子主題“家庭與家庭生活”“常見的職業(yè)與人民的生活”。教材以主要人物在談?wù)摷彝ハ鄡缘那榫罢归_教學(xué)，呈現(xiàn)出本單元要學(xué)習(xí)的核心詞匯、句型及其語用環(huán)境。通過主情景導(dǎo)出大任務(wù)“跟著Chen Jie評選最美家庭”，談?wù)摷彝コ蓡T和家人職業(yè)，功能是詢問與介紹。本單元主題突顯，話題和核心語言保持較高的一致性，情景也和人物安排較為集中，主要談?wù)揂my’s family, Sarah’s family, John’s family三個西方家庭，但缺少介紹中國家庭的板塊，因此在A Let’s spell 中創(chuàng)編短文，介紹Chen Jie’s family，讓學(xué)生在有關(guān)聯(lián)性和遞進性的學(xué)習(xí)活動中了解中西方文化差異，形成正確的家庭觀，知道如何維護、欣賞、愛護家庭。
單元設(shè)計框架（示意圖）
學(xué)情分析
本單元是人教版英語(三年級起點)四年級上冊第六單元，本單元隸屬總話題“family”下的一個知識點，主要圍繞“家庭成員和家人職業(yè)"這個話題，重點學(xué)習(xí)更多的家庭成員名稱及一些簡單的職業(yè)。四年級的學(xué)生，他們在三年級下冊學(xué)習(xí)過介紹家庭成員稱呼的詞匯和句型：mother(mum), father(dad), woman, man, grandfather，Who’s that man/ woman She’s/ He’s my father/ mother等；在四年級上冊學(xué)習(xí)過介紹人物外貌和性格特征的單詞和句型：strong, friendly, quiet, He is..., He has...，為本單元的學(xué)習(xí)奠定了基礎(chǔ)。本單元繼續(xù)了解更多的家庭成員及其職業(yè)，討論、評價并形成好的家庭標準。同時本單元中所談?wù)摰降募胰说穆殬I(yè)，也是為六年級上冊第五單元What does he do 這個關(guān)于職業(yè)的話題做了鋪墊，起到承前啟后的作用。從低年級到高年級，家人及職業(yè)上的話題一直貫穿始終，并且對于該話題意義層面上的滲透卻逐步提升。
單元整體設(shè)計思路
圍繞單元主題，深挖各課時話題，本單元學(xué)習(xí)的主題是“家庭成員和家人職業(yè)”。本單元要學(xué)習(xí)的核心詞匯：家庭成員稱呼parents, cousin, uncle, aunt, baby brother及簡單職業(yè)名詞doctor, cook, driver, farmer, nurse，談?wù)摷胰顺蓡T構(gòu)成， 家人職業(yè)等相關(guān)句型語篇核心詞匯核心句型學(xué)習(xí)內(nèi)容學(xué)習(xí)時長學(xué)習(xí)目標A learnparents, cousin, uncle, aunt, baby brotherMeet my family! 語篇研讀（附圖）本節(jié)課是對話篇， 本課時的主題意義是通過Amy 和Chen Jie 在翻看照片并談?wù)摳髯缘募彝コ蓡T結(jié)構(gòu)時產(chǎn)生的對話，讓學(xué)生感知本節(jié)課句型的語義及語用情景。先通過處理局部的重點句型，讓學(xué)生進行小組合作操練句型，再回歸語篇，解決問題How many people are there in your family My family has...people.等...逐步引導(dǎo)學(xué)生在發(fā)現(xiàn)問題，了解語言結(jié)構(gòu)的同時，讓學(xué)生在交際中鞏固所學(xué)內(nèi)容，從中體驗、實踐、交流和探究語言，達成逐步熟悉詞匯的意義和功能再通過詢問及回答家庭成員的相關(guān)問題，引導(dǎo)學(xué)生學(xué)會欣賞、愛護自己的家。
