本單元是人教版英語(三年級起點)四年級上冊第六單元,本單元隸屬總話題“family”下的一個知識點,主要圍繞“家庭成員和家人職業(yè)"這個話題,重點學(xué)習(xí)更多的家庭成員名稱及一些簡單的職業(yè)。四年級的學(xué)生,他們在三年級下冊學(xué)習(xí)過介紹家庭成員稱呼的詞匯和句型:mother(mum), father(dad), woman, man, grandfather,Who’s that man/ woman She’s/ He’s my father/ mother等;在四年級上冊學(xué)習(xí)過介紹人物外貌和性格特征的單詞和句型:strong, friendly, quiet, He is..., He has...,為本單元的學(xué)習(xí)奠定了基礎(chǔ)。本單元繼續(xù)了解更多的家庭成員及其職業(yè),討論、評價并形成好的家庭標準。同時本單元中所談?wù)摰降募胰说穆殬I(yè),也是為六年級上冊第五單元What does he do 這個關(guān)于職業(yè)的話題做了鋪墊,起到承前啟后的作用。從低年級到高年級,家人及職業(yè)上的話題一直貫穿始終,并且對于該話題意義層面上的滲透卻逐步提升。

語篇研讀(附圖)本節(jié)課是對話篇, 本課時的主題意義是通過Amy 和Chen Jie 在翻看照片并談?wù)摳髯缘募彝コ蓡T結(jié)構(gòu)時產(chǎn)生的對話,讓學(xué)生感知本節(jié)課句型的語義及語用情景。先通過處理局部的重點句型,讓學(xué)生進行小組合作操練句型,再回歸語篇,解決問題How many people are there in your family My family has...people.等...逐步引導(dǎo)學(xué)生在發(fā)現(xiàn)問題,了解語言結(jié)構(gòu)的同時,讓學(xué)生在交際中鞏固所學(xué)內(nèi)容,從中體驗、實踐、交流和探究語言,達成逐步熟悉詞匯的意義和功能再通過詢問及回答家庭成員的相關(guān)問題,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生學(xué)會欣賞、愛護自己的家。
