seen from…過去分詞短語作狀語，和mountains構成動賓關系
Looking at the beautiful scenery, they both agreed that it was the most awesome journey they had ever taken.(現在分詞短語作狀語+賓語從句+定語從句)
望著眼前的美景，兩人一致認為這是她們所經歷過的最棒的一次旅行。
looking…. scenery現在分詞短語作伴隨狀語，和they構成主動關系； they had ever taken為過去完成時，且是省略that/which的定語從句，先行詞為the most awesome journey.
The bushes and maple trees outside their windows were red, gold, and orange, and there was frost on the ground, confirming that autumn had arrived in Canada.（現在分詞短語作狀語+賓語從句）
窗外的灌木叢和楓樹林呈紅色、金色和橘黃色，地面蓋著一層霜，表明加拿大已進入秋季。
confirming….為現在分詞短語作結果狀語，自然而然的結果。that引導賓語從句，had arrived 為過去完成時。
4. It was not until 9: 30 a m. that they finally reached the capital of Ontario, Toronto.(強調句型)
上午九點半，她們終于抵達安大略的省會多倫多。
It was/is not until…. that 為“not until …that”的強調句型，強調時間。
結構：
①not ... until
e.g. Not until then did I really understand the importance of passing kindness.
②It is/was not until...that
e.g. It was not until then that I really understood the importance of passing kindness.
注意：not until...放在句首時，句子或主句要使用部分倒裝結構，其結構為“Not until...＋助動詞/系動詞/情態動詞＋(句子/主句)主語＋謂語動詞＋其他”。
