After graduation, she was hired as a physician at the PUMC Hospital. Then, Dr Lin was sent abroad for further study. She rejected an offer to stay in the US and returned to China to serve women and children at home. During the war,her hospital department was closed.But Dr Lin opened her own clinic to help people.In new China, she held many important positions.
