The Chinese knot（中國結）
The Chinese knot is a special form of traditional Chinese arts. It is famous in China and has a long history. Every knot is made with a single rope or thread. And it is normally named after(以...命名) its specific form and meaning. The Chinese knot was used for recording events in ancient times（在古代）, but now it's mainly used as a decoration（主要被用作裝飾）. Since the Chinese knot is usually red, people buy it for the hope that it can bring happiness and good luck to them. It's a good choice to give it to a friend as a gift.

Paper cutting
As we all know, paper cutting is one of the traditional Chinese arts. Let me introduce something about it.
It has a long history in China. Paper cutting can be made in different shapes, such as figures, animals, flowers, Chinese characters with good meanings and so on. During the Spring Festival, they are put on windows doors and walls as the symbol of wishes and good luck to express their wishes for the coming year. With the development of tradition arts, paper cutting ls popular all over the world.

Dongling tea in Jiyuan（冬凌茶）
Jiyuan is a small city located in（位于） the northwestern part of Henan, it is famous for different kinds of traditional arts. Around this small mountain area, as a hometown of Yugong, Dongling tea also attracts so many travelers from all around China to come and enjoy.
Dongling tea is special kind of Chinese herbal medicine(中國中草藥). As far as I know, tea plants are grown on the sides of Wangwu mountains, when the leaves are ready, they are picked by hand and then are sent for processing. After that, the tea is packed and sent to many different cities and places in China. It can clear heat and detoxify our body（清熱解毒）, and is especially good for our soar throat.
Jiyuan is widely known for Dongling tea, welcome to our city.

Silk quilts（蠶絲被）
My city Suzhou is famous for its silk quilts. These quilts are made of pure silk（被蠶絲制作）. They're made by skillful worker in many silk factories in the city. The silk quilts are used to keep people warm and comfortable in bed. They are known to be very comfortable because they are light and soft to touch. In addition(此外), they look beautiful as they are decorated with（用...被裝飾） beautiful patterns. Many people from all over the world come to Suzhou to visit silk factories and buy not only the silk quilts but many other silk products, too. They are bought to sent to people's friends and relatives as a gift, they are also seen as a bright symbol of happiness and good wishes.

Traditional kite arts
My city, Weifang in Shandong Province, is famous for its kites. An international kite festival is held here in April every year. Kites are loved by lots of people because they rise into the air with people's wishes for a better life(帶著人們對美好生活的愿望飛入空中). They are usually made of bamboo, paper or cloth or plastic and string. There are all kinds of kites and they are often painted with colorful drawings. And kites here often have special designs（有著特殊的設計）. People used kites to send a message in the old days. Today, they are used for fun and exercise.

Qipao（旗袍）
Qipao is a kind of traditional Chinese dress for women. Nowadays, there are still some people who are excellent at（擅長于） making gipao. Liang Yuhua is one of them.
Liang Yuhua was born in 1951. She is from Tianjin. She has nearly fifty years of experience in（接近50年的經驗） making qipao. She started to learn it at the age of 20. Then she made it her lifelong career. It is not easy to make qipao. Liang has to take more than 200 steps（需要200個步驟） to finish one, including choosing materials and cutting the cloth. These years, Liang has been spending much time teaching（花更多的時間教） students how to make qipao as she worries that qipao making skills are in danger of dying out（消失的危險）. To keep this traditional art form alive, she even sets up online courses （設立網上課程）to teach young people some basic skills.
