borrow “借;借用”指主語從別人處“借入”東西自己使用。 borrow sth. from sb. 向某人借某物
【辨】lend 與 borrow
【拓】lend 與 borrow 是短暫性動詞,不能與表示一段時間的狀語連用。表示“借用某物一段時間”時,要用 keep sth. for some time。
