Teaching difficulties How to guide students to apply what they have learned to real life and write a speech about contributing to the community. 三、教學方法 Task-based teaching method, situational teaching method, cooperative learning method 四、教學過程 (I) Leading in(5 minutes) 1. Show some pictures of the community activities and ask the students: What can you see in the pictures Do you know anything about community centres Guide students to think about the role of the community center. 2. Lead to the theme of this lesson: Today we are going to learn about a community centre and how people help each other there. (Ii) Word learning (10 minutes) 1. The teacher holds the English textbook, clearly read the words "community centre", "noticeboard", "problem", "f far", "sore throat" and so on, and let the students spell. 2. Give the correct answer and explain the usage and collocation of the words. For example, "community centre" means "community center", and "have a problem" means "there is a problem". 3. For example, to help students remember, such as: I have a problem with my math homework. (I have a problem with my math homework.) (III) Reading the notice (10 minutes) 1. Let the students read the notice in the text and answer the following questions: Which club can help if you have a health problem What can the Fix-it Club do for you How can the Art & Design Group help you 2. After the students answer the questions, the teacher will comment and explain to help the students understand the content of the notice. (IV) Listening exercises (5 minutes) 1. Play the recording of Simon and Annie, and let the students complete the volunteers' notes. 2. Check the answer, play the recording again, let the students read it, and imitate the pronunciation and intonation. (V) Writing exercises (10 minutes) 1. Guide students to copy Simon's speech, draw their own mind map, and think about what they can do for the community. 2. Students begin to write, and teachers patrol and give guidance. (VI). Class Summary (5 minutes) 1. Summarize the students' performance in the word writing, reading and writing, praise the well-done places, and point out the existing problems. 2. Give progress suggestions, such as reading more English articles to accumulate vocabulary, more practice writing to improve the expression ability, etc. (VII), homework after class 1.
