2. To grasp the new words and expression.
教學難點： To be able to use Past Continuous and Simple Past Tense correctly.
教學過程
Step 1 Warming up Introduce the topic and lead to the topic. Step 2 Presentation Lead to the picture by asking questions. (What can you see in this picture /Who can you see in this accident /Where did you see this traffic accident /What were the driver and policewoman doing at the time ) Step 3 Listening Listen to the conversation between the driver and the policewoman, and then underline the correct words. Listen to the first part of conversation between Ms James and her students and complete the sentences. (Listen for what they were doing when the accident happened.) Listen to the second part of conversation between Ms James and her students and tick the true sentences. (Thinking: Why did Ms James talk about the accident with her students.) Listen to the last part and choose the correct answer. Listen to the last part again and complete the notes of their accidents for bike riders. Step 4 Speaking Watch the video and read along with it.
