To master infinitive:to do I am more interested to see the panda… …because it allows people to get closer to them. Many wild animals don’t have safe places to live. Cultural awareness To help students know the importance of protecting animals and our environment. To improve their sense of duty to love and protect animals. Thinking qualities To understand the reasons why animals are in danger. To give the proper solutions through thinking Learning abilities To cultivate the ability of expressing opinions. To develop the listening skills.

教學重點： 1.To master the new words and expressions. 2.To master infinitive:to do 3.To get the information about animals in danger by listening and reading skills.
教學難點： 1.To master infinitive sentence pattern:to do 2.Think out the ways to protect the animal in danger.

問題與情景 師生活動 設計意圖
Step 1：Lead in 同學們觀看電視節目Animals World 的片頭。 進行brainstorm，能夠看到哪些動物？ T: Let’s take our cameras and telescopes and go to the wild. Let’s see what happened their. S: Great. Let’s go. T: What can you see 主題意義下的教學模式。在引入部分，教師播放一段動物世界片頭曲的視頻展現大量動物，自然引出動物。
Step 2：presentation 1.通過動物特征的提示，猜測動物。 2.學習新單詞。 S：There are so many kinds of animals. T: Which kind of animals did you see T: There is so much frog. We can’t see them clearly. Let’s take out our telescopes. Who wants to come first 這里做了屏幕互動。Ppt上呈現了6個望遠鏡。讓學生上臺來選擇任意一個并點擊，就會出現圖片和線索，幫助學生猜測動物的種類。并且呈現了本課的大部分新詞匯，為同學們接下來的聽力以及課文理解做好鋪墊。
Step 3：Listening 聽關于電視節目Animals World 的小聽力，回答問題。 核對答案。 觀看Lingling 和Betty的課文flash視頻，回答課文主旨問題。 聽課文聽力，回答細節問題。 Listening 1 T：Do you like animals S: Yes. T: I like animals very much. But we can’t get closer to them easily. What can we do S1: We can go to the zoo. S2: We can see them on TV. T: Let’s listen and finish following two tasks. 1. What is this week’s Animal World about 2. What animals are in danger？ Listening 2 T：Animal World is so popular. But as for common people, where can we get closer to them S: Zoos T: Let’s go to a zoo to find them and finish two questions as follows： What are they talking about？A:They are talking about the zoo. B:They are talking about the panda. C:They are talking about the animals in danger and how to protect them . 教師和學生互動，同時引出主題get closer to animals。讓學生猜測中國最受歡迎的動物類電視節目。完成兩個小題。這里設置了屏幕互動，讓學生上臺來點擊對應答案，提升同學們興趣。 這里通過視頻互動引出第二個聽力（動畫呈現聽力文本。）以及細節，提升同學們聽力能力。
Step 4：Post-listening 學生根據教師的提問回答問題，找到答案，表達想法，學習詞匯，句型，語法。 Give students several minutes to let students read and finish following questions: 1: Why is Betty more interested to see the pandas in Wolong Panda Reserve (In the Wolong Panda Reserve, pandas have a safe place _______) 2: What does Lingling think of animals in danger (It is wrong to kill animals to _____________________________) 3: Why are many animals in danger (Wild animals don’t have a safe place _________.) 4: What does the notice say (Maybe we can raise money at school to _____________.) 閱讀的教授做到師生互動，通過圖片和視頻的互動，讓學生運用所學知識談論動物為什么處于瀕臨滅絕的狀態。并且尋找保護他們的方法。再讀課文，獲取細節信息，幫助學生進一步理解課文，有利于引導學生形成和提高自主學習的能力。 同時強調語法知識點動詞不定式to do 的運用。
Step 5：Summary 學生跟著教師一起做課文總結。 T：Let’s do a summary together. 做課文總結能夠讓學生對課文有個更全面理解，對課文內容更深刻。
Step 6：report 1.觀看一個保護動物的視頻。 2.小組合作：想出保護動物的方法，以小組的形式做報告。 T: See a video to elicit the feeling of protection of students to protect animals. T: Talk with your group members to find out other ways to save as many animals as possible. 視頻互動做好情感提升。 小組合作提升了同學們的合作精神，集思廣益，報告的內容也是課文的重點句型，鞏固了重點，也加強了同學們保護動物的意識。
Step 7 Homework 1. Read the passage after school and remember the new words. 2. Create a poster about protecting animals. (be creative) 作業是課堂學習的延伸和鞏固,是所學知識的反饋。學生可以在做作業中鞏固本課所學,掌握更多有關瀕危動物及如何保護動物的信息。
