I had a lot of teachers that I loved. However,the teacher that I remember most was Mrs Green from Marianna，Florida.She was my 5th grade teacher.Since I was a new student，not only in her class，but at the school，she made my time there much more pleasant.I immediately began to like her.She was really funny and I knew that she liked me.She made learning fun.I remember one day for Christmas holidays，she taught us how to make ornaments(裝飾物) from eggs.My parents still have some of the ornaments I made.
She made me leader for many group projects and that made me feel special.I think that would make any child feel special，especially when a child is in a new place with no friends.She made me want to be like that.Not to pick a “favorite” student，but to make every student feel that they are special.That year，I received the Presidential Academic Award(美國總統學術獎)．I was really proud and so were my parents.

Remember that goals are dreams with a timetable. Our goals are important for us to create what enriches our life. A very common attitude among people who are successful is that their success lies in their ability to provide themselves goals that are both numerous and exciting. When you think about your future, you are helping to feed a long-term goal of what you want to create.
To realize your dreams, you must translate your vision into a series of actions you can take as soon as possible. You should be able to measure these results, to make sure they take you wherever you want. And this step should not be viewed lightly! Indeed, very few people set goals and concrete actions for themselves to achieve. Very few people note what they want to accomplish, and know each day whether they have indeed advanced in the direction of their dreams.
Therefore one of the secrets that you can get results from is to write down your goals on paper first. When you give your dreams a form, they become more concrete, and you can refer to them often and easily. Whenever you read the dreams that you note down, you fill your mind with positive and motivational thoughts.
Unfortunately, many people stop there. They just simply make wishes, hope and wait. We’ve all hoping that what we study will stick in our mind. Many of us have probably wondered. “Is there any way to improve memory ” So, why don’t we look at what memory experts say about this
Every student knows that it’s helpful to review what they’ve studied before. According to experts, we can learn things better if we wait some time before trying to study them again. They say that trying to remember something from your memory after you have had some to forget it will make it easier to remember in future.
Similarly, studies have shown that taking some time to just do nothing after studying might mean that you can remember things better afterwards. It is not clear why this happens. But some think it has to do with the relationship between long-term and short-term memory.
Another study tip is to change between different ideas. Now, connecting them to each other or to images (圖像) is often considered a good way to remember something. A word champion Jonathan Hancock says how picturing pieces of information in different physical locations or connecting them to memorable images makes them easier to remember.
There are also more things that we can do to improve our memory. Hancock says that being generally organized makes things easier for your brain. Many other experts also suggest that we should get a lot of rest and exercise. So, the good news to take from this is that while it may be hard, improving our memory is something we can do.

“Surprise!” was the first thing I heard when I opened the door. My parents and friends were all smiling at me. I was pretty sure that a teacher did notice that I stopped paying attention to her because a week later we took a test and I failed. What was worse, my mom had to sign the test paper. Our listener’s question this week comes from Kenny Bailey who has been listening to our program since 2006. And he wants us to give some advice on budget hotels on Mexico’s Pacific coast. We’ll focus on the top 3 today.
The first one on our list is Hotel Posada Freeman. This 12-storey hotel sits just across the street from Olas Altas Beach. It has bright, comfortable rooms with ocean views, a top-floor bar and an outdoor pool on the 11th floor. A single room costs only about $15 a night.
Then there is Casa Roxana Bungalows. It’s the perfect choice for an adventurer, as the hotel is located in an area that is known for its jungle tours. The hotel is simply furnished but perfectly clean, with double beds, air conditioning and reliable Wi-Fi. Each room costs $20 a night.
