單元整體教學設計思路
本課學習的主題是談論最喜歡的動物，本課圍繞“動物”情況，學習如何討論動物，同時復現了一般現在時及其can及like的用法。
語篇研讀（附圖）
What：通過對熊貓的談論，引出“討論動物”的話題，呈現句型：They look like bears. They live in Sichuan, China. Pandas are black and white. They can climb trees. They like sleeping.讓學生了解其語義和語用功能。同時學習單詞：China.
Why: 通過談論動物，學習運用目標句型：They look like bears. They live in Sichuan, China. Pandas are black and white. They can climb trees. They like sleeping.通過創設情景，激發學生的學習興趣，鼓勵學生把所學內容運用到生活實際中。
How: 本版塊談論動物，突出核心語言的操練和運用，鞏固操練本課的語言知識。同伴之間對話練習，強調學生在自主探究、小組合作和多元評價的過程中提高溝通能力和解決問題的能力。
三、教學對象分析
六年級英語在小學英語教學中起著承上啟下的作用，既是五年級的衍生又是初中一年級的鋪墊。我們的學生雖然已有三年的英語學習經驗，但還存在很多問題。部分學生學習興趣不是很高，個別的學生甚至對學習有厭惡感；回家不會學習，無正確的學習方法，學習態度談不上十分端正，回家以后沒有及時鞏固練習；部分學生學習的目的性不是很強，導致學習習慣不好，學習無明確的計劃，應付心理較強。作為語言學科，聽讀很關鍵，而大多數學生在這方面做得很不好。
教學目標
通過本課學習，學生能夠：
1.在看、聽、說的活動中，獲取和梳理對話信息，使用核心語言:They look like bears. They live in Sichuan, China. Pandas are black and white. They can climb trees. They like sleeping.同時學習單詞：China.(學習理解）
2.在教師和同伴的幫助下，分角色表演對話，呈現核心語言在真實語境中的運用，并會對其中的語言、行為以及同伴的表現進行多角度評價；（應用實踐）
3.在小組內進行真實語境的創設，學習運用“They look like bears. They live in Sichuan, China. Pandas are black and white. They can climb trees. They like sleeping.”等句型談論熊貓；通過學習課文內容，能夠對英語學習有興趣，樂于模仿，善于積極溝通，學會愛護動物。（遷移創新）
