The telephone is ringing.聽!電話鈴響了。I’ll ring you up as soon as I arrive at the airport.我一到機(jī)場(chǎng)就給你打電話。【拓展】ring n. 戒指;環(huán)狀物(2) so loudly that 是“so + 形容詞/副詞 + that + 從句”的結(jié)構(gòu)。so … that 意思是“如此…以至于…”e.g. This movie is so interesting that I want to watch it again.這個(gè)電影如此有趣,我想再看一次。He spoke so quickly that I couldn't follow him.他說(shuō)得如此快以至我跟不上他。(3) wake up 醒;醒來(lái) (“動(dòng)詞+副詞”短語(yǔ))e.g. The alarm clock wakes me up in the morning.鬧鐘每天早上叫我起床。I will wake up my parents/wake my parents up tomorrow.我明早會(huì)喊我父母起床。若wake up的賓語(yǔ)是名詞,則該賓語(yǔ)可置于up的前面或后面;如果賓語(yǔ)是代詞,則該賓語(yǔ)必須放在wake和up的中間。5. Your train is about to leave.您的火車要開了。be about to do sth. 就要/正要…… 由于be about to do sth.本身已含有“即將”這樣的時(shí)間概念,所以它習(xí)慣上不再與 soon, at once, immediately, tomorrow 這樣的具體時(shí)間狀語(yǔ)連用。e.g. He met her as she was about to go away.她剛要走時(shí),他遇見她了。6.
