2) To know the usage of the superlative and to describe the movie theater using the superlative.

Stages Activities
Lead-in Step1: Free talk T asks the questions: What do you often do on weekends 2. Do you like watching movies 3. Where can we watch movies Then T teaches the new word: movie theater. Step2: Let’s think T asks the question: What does a good movie theater have T shows some pictures and guides Ss to answer: A good movie theater has big screens/comfortable seats/good sound/new movies/cheap tickets. A good movie theater is popular/ close to home. T teaches the new words and phrases one by one.
Pre-listening Step3: Let’s talk T asks the question: Which is important for you to choose a movie theater And T asks Ss to answer like this: I think… things are important. It has …. It is … Step4: Let’s compare T introduces three cinemas to Ss：Town Cinema，Movie World，Screen City o Ss and asks Ss to compare them. T guides Ss to say like this: … has the biggest screens/the most comfortable seats/ the best sound/ the newest movies/ the cheapest tickets. … is the most popular/ the closest to home. T explains the usage of superlative.
While- listening Step5. Let’s listen T plays the tape. Ss listen and match the statements with the three movie theaters. Write down their names in 1b.
Post-listening (10mins) Step6: Let’s share T asks Ss to use superlative to talk about the best places ( supermarket, restaurant, bookstore,school…) that they know. And here is an example for them: Wanda Shopping Center is the best shopping center in the city. It has the most comfortable clothes and the cheapest shoes. And it has the friendliest service(服務). It is the closest to my home so I usually go there on foot.
Summary T asks one student to make a summary of what he or she has learned in this lesson and then improves the answer.
Homework Must-do Think about the best place that you want to go and write down a composition about it. Optional Read the listening material three times.
教學反思
在學生已經在上一單元學習了形容詞比較級并能較為熟練地運用的基礎上。我開始引導學生學習形容詞最高級的表達法與應用。這是本單元的第一節課，而最高級對于學生而言，并不容易。所以從單元話題movie theater出發，我引領學生們思考，一個好的電影院應該有什么？并且通過圖片的展示，來教授一些新的單詞詞組。由于這個話題較為貼近學生生活，孩子們可以在圖片的幫助下說出，這個是比較好的地方。然后我舉例了三個不同的電影院，并且進行比較，從門票價格，排隊時間，離家距離，屏幕大小，座位，人氣，音效等角度進行比較，其中穿插了比較級，也引出了最高級，但是在說的過程中，學生們經常忘記最高級前面的the,也有點不敢說。在這里需要多對學生們進行鼓勵。隨后聽聽力，在之前的鋪墊下，學生們可以較好地完成。最后還設計了一個展示，說一個你覺得最棒的地方，學生們參考例子說出來學校，超市，餐館等，比較活躍。
但是，我覺得自己在時間掌握上還是不夠好。各個環節不夠緊湊。所以到后來拖了2分鐘。所以，在以后的教學中，一定要改善這點，把教學節奏控制好，合理分配與控制時間。
