第一單元主要是講解掌握語法復合不定代詞someone, anyone, something, anything等的用法;反身代詞myself，yourself等的用法,以及 一般過去時態的特殊疑問句，一般疑問句及其肯定、否定回答，并通過詢問學生或讓學生之間互相詢問暑假度假的情況，所以作文內容為描述某人在過去的某一段時間里做的事情
例：書面表達
假如你是 Mike,你印象最深的是去年暑假和家人一起去鄉下(countryside)的爺爺家。鄉下的空氣很好,天氣也不錯;你 和爺爺去爬山、釣魚(go fishing),和堂弟去游泳;奶奶每天都給你做好吃的。 你們過得很愉快。請以“My vacation”為題寫一篇短文。要求:80 詞左右。
My vacation
I remember my last summer vacation. My family and I went to see my grandparents in the countryside. The air there was fresh, and the weather was good, too. 第三單元主要是講解形容詞的比較級，形容詞的同級比較，形容詞的比較級前常用修飾詞等，能夠正確用對形容詞、副詞以及他們的比較級并能夠正確使用單元中出現的詞和詞組
以及should以及情態動詞的正確使用，作文涉及的內容一般是藐視某人或者某物前后的一些變化或者介紹人物之間的差異。
例文1：
Sally is my best friend. In some ways we are the same. She is as tall as I , and her hair is as long as mine. Both of us like sports and are good at our subjects. We both like reading, and we usually go to the library on weekends. But in some ways we are different. She is taller and more outgoing than I. She likes playing the guitar, but I like playing the piano. I only exercise three times a week, but she does exercise every day.

第四單元主要是形容詞副詞的最高級的用法，通過學習要求會正確判斷并使用動詞不定式做主語，賓語，目的狀語等并且會正確使用形容詞和副詞的最高級，所以作文的內容主要是講對某人的東西或者人物進行描述并表達個人喜好等。
例文1：
There are three restaurants near our school. Of the three restaurants, I like ham’s best. Because it has the best food. And it has the friendliest service of the three. However, people don’t often eat there because the food there is the most expensive.
I also like Miller’s. The food there is cheaper than that in ham’s. And it has better food than Jason’s. It also has friendly service. And it has the most popular restaurant near our school.
As for Jason’s, I don’t like it. Though it’s the cheapest, it has the worst food. And it doesn’t have friendly service at all.

This week I asked some people about TV shows and fashion things. I asked them about 5 things. Their answers are very interesting. Here are their likes and dislikes.

unit 5
第五單元主要是讓學生會動詞不定式做賓語以及喜歡和不喜歡的表達，從而能夠表達自己的觀點，喜歡不喜歡；運用動詞不定式結構做動詞的賓語；后面接動詞不定式做賓語的動詞來寫句子，因此作文大多會寫對某人喜歡或者不喜歡的事物進行描述。
例文1：
I asked some of my friends about their favorite TV shows. Here are their answers. Judy likes soap operas best because she thinks they are very funny and romantic. Alex’s favorite TV shows are sports shows. He likes doing sports and he wants know more about sports. Susan likes to watch English shows. She likes English very much. She wants to learn it well and improve her listening. As for me, I like talent shows. I don’t mind English shows or sports shows but I can’t stand soap operas because they are too boring.

第六單元單元主要是講解一般將來時的用法， 讓學生通過對be going to…句型有關職業的描述，進一步提高英語聽、說的能力。并掌握一般將來時將來的用法。作文內容涉及到對未來職業的暢想或者新年計劃等。
例文：
New Year is coming. Do you have any plan for your next year I’m going to do a lot of things next year.
First, I want to improve my English, so I’m going to practice it very often and have many conversations with my friends. Next, I want to be more healthy, so I’ m going to do sports every day such as swimming, running and so on. At the same time, I’ m going to eat less junk food. Finally, I am going to make more friends. I will take part in some activities to meet more people and make friends with some of them.

第七單元主要是要學會掌握一般將來時的will do以及和there be的用法，通過學習熟練掌握并運用一般將來時的意義與用法以及學會使用There be 句型的一般將來時態。作文類型主要以對未來職業或者將來的計劃安排為主。

　　When I grow up, I'm going to be a reporter. To be a reporter, I'm going to write articles for magazines and newspapers next year. I'm going to a university in Beijing after high school. 第八單元主要是通過學習對做某事的步驟進行一步一步的描述，學會用序數詞或者表順序的連接詞，增強句子的邏輯關系，所以作文內容大多為對做某事的順序或者步驟進行詳細描寫。
例文：
Here is one way to make turkey for a Thanksgiving dinner.
First, mix together some bread pieces, onions, salt and pepper.
Next, fill the turkey with this bread mix.
Then, put the turkey in a hot oven and cook it for a few hours.
When it is ready, place the turkey on a large plate and cover it with gravy.
Finally, cut the turkey into thin pieces and eat the meat with vegetables like carrots and potatoes.

第九單元主要是講解情態動詞以及和邀約的句型，通過情態動詞can和have to的用法，學會使用發出請求或邀請以及答語，因此作文大多就是運用情態動詞來進行邀請或者拒絕邀請等 。
例文：

第十單元主要是通過學習if引導的條件狀語從句，學習談論即將發生的事件的交際用語。并學會寫描寫未來和假設情況，因此作文也是學會用條件狀語從句來對未來進行假設。
例文：
If I have a lot of money, I will have the chance to do what I want to do. First I’ll travel around the world, because I love traveling, and then I’ll give some money to schools and charities. I’ll try my best to help the people who are in trouble. Next, I will buy a big house with a garden and a swimming pool for my parents, so they will live a happy life.
