Known as Madame Curie, Marie Curie is one of the most famous and brilliant physicists and chemists in the world and has a great impact on the develpment of physics and chemisry in the world.
Born in Sep. 7, 1867 in an intellectual family in Poland, Marie Curie attended a university in France to study physics and chemistry, because women were not allowed to go to university at that time. As a woman, Marie Curie was faced with great difficulties. Nevertheless, she did not let that discourage her from taking on challenges. She continued to devote herself to doing scientific research and finally in 1989, she achieved great success in discovering radium and won the Nobel Prize.
Madame Curie is regarded as the most outstanding woman scientist due to her substantial contributions in scientific field. Her spirits leave a deep impression on me and inspire me to work hard to pursue my dream.
